Whenever anyone asks, you tell them you're ok and work's going great.
But you've finally accepted that your energy and inspiration have run dry.
You're tired and wired so its hard to rest properly.
You doom scroll in bed until late instead of getting a decent night sleep.
Weekends are spent trying to catch up with life admin and the piles of clothes and plates that need washing.
Your body is starting to protest, as your stomach gets worse, your back gives out or you struggle to concentrate from fatigue.
You feel guilty as Whatsapp messages from friends go unanswered.
You can't remember the last time you managed to send a birthday card on time and you keep cancelling on phone calls to catch-up.
You've lost touch with your deeper inspiration for your work and if you're honest, you're bored.
The kind of "busy bored" where you've got loads to do, which keeps you stressed, but you're not lit up like you used to be.
You've changed so much from becoming a leader.
Yes, you're proud of what you've achieved and there's so much more you want to give and do.
But you've become a stranger to yourself and you feel stuck.
You're so busy trying to do things for other people, it's almost like YOU have disappeared.
And somewhere inside a small voice is telling you to stop and be quiet...
That there must be more to life than this.
You want to come home to yourself and reclaim your energy and purpose.
At the very least, you wish you could have a single moment of peace without your busy mind problem-solving or planning.
You know you need some "me time" to do this. You dream of getting away.
The problem is that having a weekend somewhere else on your own just feels like too much hassle right now or it might not even be possible.
You try to find space here and there, but you always end up doing something instead of actually resting.
It seems so hard to do anything meaningful at the weekend.
The next thing you know it's Sunday evening and your mind is already full of work.
You go round the hamster wheel again, unable to break free for long enough to set a different course.
What if you had the space, support and tools to:
Deeply rest your body, heart and mind
Stop feeling suffocated by your never ending To Do list
Wake up on Monday, excited about the week ahead
Make big bold decisions about your future
Ask for what you want without feeling guilty
Would this be helpful for you?

17-19 January 2025
It's remarkably easy to go through a journey of radical transformation in 48 hours with an experienced retreat leader and coach.
And it's so much more powerful when you're walking the same path with a passionate and caring community who share the same struggles as you.
I've spent over a year on retreat myself (really!) and I've supported or led more than I can remember: I know what works and what doesn't.
If you've been seeing your life reflected in everything you've read on this page so far, Homecoming Retreats have been designed for you.
You don't need to feel trapped by the fact it's hard to get away at the weekend.
It's entirely possible to rest and reignite your passion within your current life, in your own home.
You don't have to run away or shut anyone out.
But you do need the right approach and the right support.
You need carefully curated time to relax, reflect, absorb, decide and take action that will set changes in motion.
This all needs to happen in an arc that takes you on a journey within and then helps you to step back into the busy world, carrying the messages you found inside.
Tell me more:
We’ll make ease, meaning and joy a priority.
I’ll give you the tools, focus and encouragement to put work down, rest well and access your intuition and inspiration for the future.
We’ll integrate the following six pillars into the weekend.
Rest | Gather | Release | Invite | Ask | Navigate
We’ll focus on your long term personal vision as well as short term wins. You’ll play with Big Bold Moves that get you stretching outside your comfort zone and Ten Minute Tweaks for simple, quick shifts.
Here are some of the things we’ll work on:
We'll draw on the symbolism and energy that's entwined with these different phases in ourselves and the world around us.
This makes every retreat unique and flow with nature, unlike so much of our lives.
Saturday
11:00-12:00// Access your intuition (visualisation / reflection)
16:00-17:15 // 90 days of inspiration and power (reflection)
20:00-21:00 // Radical Rest (Pt. 2 - relaxation)
Sunday
11:00-12:00 // Stay inspired in challenging times (reflection)
16:00-17:15 // Courageous Communication (reflection)
20:00-21:00 // Succeed with ease and joy (reflection and ritual)
Don't worry, it's not two days staring at a screen.
You'll either be meditating, writing, pottering about thinking, sharing, asking questions or receiving some helpful guidance to apply to the practice.
You also have plenty of time between to exercise, eat and do your washing!
If you need to pop out during sessions to respond to something at home, that's fine.
I'll be online all weekend to answer any questions and help you get unstuck.
You'll also receive tips and advice for setting up great conditions to support you.
Like what to say to anyone you live with and what to do with your phone.

I'd also learnt the hard way that helping other people came at a cost and I needed to take a serious look at what I was doing and why.

I'd also learnt the hard way that helping other people came at a cost and I needed to take a serious look at what I was doing and why.
In 2021, and following seven years of intensive training, I was Ordained within the same Buddhist Order that ran that first retreat. My name means "She whose dream is of the Noble Ones."
I've helped thousands of professionals take control of their stress levels and find deeper meaning in their lives, through online and in-person classes, courses and retreats.
I have brilliant, diverse clients: from Pembroke College, University of Cambridge to community-based not-for-profits.

I hear you ask.
Honestly? Good luck.
I've taken myself off on solitary retreats so I can humbly say this based on my own journey:
If you're trying to do this alone with little or no experience, it's going to be hard, maybe impossible.
You're too tired to be both retreat leader and retreatant, even if you did know what to do.
You'll probably just get distracted and wander off to do something else. That was what I struggled with when I first started doing solitary weekends.
That's why it's so powerful to relax into structure that's provided for you.
Homecoming Retreats free up your energy by drastically reducing the number of decisions you have to make about how to use your time.
And you have support to stay focused on what you've been invited to do or explore.
The same way that following a guided meditation or exercise class allows you to just show up, do it and get results.
